Editor, Townsman:
When looking at the slate of candidates running for Selectman in Andover, one individual and only one stands out. And that person is the incumbent, Alex Vispoli.
As an active member of the Board of Selectmen and its current chairman, his track record speaks for itself. Taxpayer advocacy is certainly his strong suit in optimizing taxpayer needs against taxpayer affordability. Alex has been in the forefront in most of the issues that beset the town such as the gas crisis, unnecessary radio towers, idling train engines and storm-created power outages. His active listening and a propensity for action are his hallmark.
Citizens of Andover please vote to re-elect Alex Vispoli with an assurance that he will continue to be the town’s foremost advocate and proponent for “fiscal sanity.”
